A challenge is a mission to be carried out in the city, in your neighborhood, with your neighbors, with your colleagues…The aim is to find an opportunity to talk on a daily basis.
Yes, because you earn points by completing the challenges, and your team gets a better ranking.
Moreover it’s a fantastic way of learning French. Each challenge corresponds to a skill in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the official reference framework for language learning.
There are 3 levels of difficulty: easy, medium and difficult.
easy = A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CECRL
medium = A2
difficult = B1
Each challenge earns you points. The SanKliché points scale is inspired by official tests such as TEF, TCF… where the points accumulated correspond to an official level (A1, A2..)
Conceived by a passionate French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher interested in pedagogy and Digital Learning, the SanKliché tool offers a new way to apply French language knowledge outside the classroom.
In late 2021, during the Africa France Summit in Montpellier, we initiated a first project with the support of the French Embassy in South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi, and the French Embassy in Rwanda. Six teams in France, South Africa, and Rwanda tackled linguistic challenges for three weeks.
In 2022 and 2023, we met with stakeholders involved in assisting newcomers in France, worked on Research & Development, and conducted a new test with an international high school in Madrid, Spain.
Today, a team of several individuals is committed alongside the founder.
In January 2024, we are launching the first version of the application… Stay tuned! 😎
